Skin, it’s time for sleep! My evening care treatments

Hey girls,

Let me present you a snippet of information concerning the importance of care cosmetics and how the face skin care should look like. I’ll also tell you what night cosmetics serve me well. Enjoy!

1. MAKE-UP REMOVAL

Remember! Imprint this on your memory, write it on your mirror or do anything you find useful to follow this first and the most important rule. ALWAYS remove make-up before going to sleep. NEVER EVER, NOT IN A MONTH OF SUNDAYS go to bed wearing make-up. This influences the state of your skin badly. When being covered with make-up for 24 hours, your dermis starts suffocating and the processes that normally take place on its surface and in the tissues become unbalanced and disharmonized. In other words, you lead anarchy to create on your face. This never ends up well.

The perfect make-up removing products are micellar lotions and oils. Look for the cosmetics that correspond to your face type as well as the ones that have the most natural composition possible. My favourite make-up removing lotion is Nacomi. I’ve been using it recently and it suits my complexion well.

2. CLEANSING

Since many make-up removing products leave a thin layer of greasy substance on a face, it’s worth cleaning your complexion with a special and delicate gel or foam. My favourite is the cleansing foam by Natura Siberica. It contains neither parabens nor other comedogenic substances and takes care of skin well.

3. FACE TONER

Many girls forget to tone their complexion once they finish their evening routine, and this is very important element of skin care. Thanks to the toning, skin preserves its natural pH at the right level and stops being prone to ageing. The perfect option is to choose hydrolates, natural water, which are created by plant distillation due a steam water. These products are delicate and, contrary to toners, they don’t have to be rubbed against face using a cotton pad. Hydrolates has to be spritzed on the face instead. My favourite products from this category are Bioline’s (especially the one including witch-hazels extract) as well as this outstanding, rejuvenating water by Evree, which was enriched with hyaluronic acid.

4. CREAM/SERUM

The last one, yet equally important item on the agenda is a night cream and an under eye cream. At night our skin is better prepared for moisturisation and nourishment therefore you should apply a slightly richer creams, obviously the ones designed for your type of skin. The perfect option is applying an oil first and then following with a proper face cream. I’m a fan of Natura Siberica creams and Evree face oil as well as a slightly more expensive version – Biotherm Blue Serum.

Nighty-night!
