I use make-up brushes every day and I have only one set of them, so I have to wash them every day. More and more I gave up on the use of any accessories and I preferred tapping in my foundation and eye shadows with a finger, rather than wasting another quarter on washing the brushes. Seriously, I get up almost right before going out to work, so I have no time for this.
How to wash make-up brushes fast and efficiently?
What’s best for washing make-up brushes?
Make-up performed with brushes looks way better and lasts longer than the one made in a hurry with your hand. I decided to find the golden means on how to use make-up brushes without the necessity of wasting half of my day on washing them. After all, I cannot leave my brushes all messy because I’d rather not create home for bacteria. What did I do?
I tested all sorts of methods and each described below I can honestly recommend. These speed up washing of my brushes and make it way cleaner than the standard washing on the palm of the hand.
Option no. 1 — for the rich
There are special devices intended for brushes which are the fastest and most comfortable form of getting rid of the messy brushes’ problem. Unfortunately, this method is also the most expensive one. Such combination of a small washer with dryer works super fast (several seconds) and is a convenient solution, however, its cost is huge. If you can afford it, then I recommend it — you just place brushes in the device, turn it on and before you know it, they are clean.
Option no. 2 — for people with small fingers
The Very popular gadget is so called BrushEgg. It is made of silicon and has a special texture that facilitates removal of the dirt from in between the brushes’ bristle. The thing is that this gadget should be put on 2-3 fingers and is very small. Therefore, if you have a bit bigger fingers, hands and really thick brushes, then this solution will be tiresome. It will come handy for the owners of small hands and small brushes though.
Option no. 3 — for expedients
BrushEgg can be easily replaced with some of the stuff you have laying around the house. Make-up brushes can be washed with, for example, silicon glove for body massage, which also has a special texture yet is much bigger. If you have children, you can use their Lego pad (no kidding) and clean your brushes this way.
