Good morning everyone!
It took me a long time to find a brow makeup product that turned out perfect in terms of formula, shade, and long-wear effects. Brow pencils and powders didn’t manage to produce that coveted wow effect. However, after testing various products, I finally found one that met all my requirements – Nanobrow Eyebrow Pomade. I use it to gently fill in the gaps between my brow hairs and my eyebrows gain the perfect shape and look naturally beautiful. The pomade lasts all day, doesn’t smudge, and keeps my brows in place. Now that I have a proven product, I can happily recommend it to other women.
Meet my favorite eyebrow pomade! 🙂
Nanobrow Eyebrow Pomade – everything you need to know
Nanobrow Eyebrow Pomade comes in a stylish jar and features a waterproof, long-wear, and highly pigmented formula that ensures bolder makeup effects compared to eyebrow pencils or powders. There are several well-balanced shades to choose from, both warm and cool (light brown, medium brown, and dark brown). I was able to choose a shade that perfectly matched my natural brow color.
The pomade has a smooth, velvety texture and applies easily on my eyebrows with a slanted brush. My eyebrows are usually quite unruly yet not very thick, but this pomade tames them effectively, gives them the right shape, and adds extra volume. The effects last all day as the pomade does not smudge or rub off. The formula of this eyebrow pomade is enriched with plant-based carnauba wax (Copernicia Cerifera Cera) and white clay, also known as china clay (Kaolin). The product is not tested on animals, so you care not only for your eyebrows but also for the environment.
PROS:
+ Waterproof formula
+ Makeup and brow care in one
+ Soft, velvety texture for easier application
+ Intense pigmentation
+ Several balanced shades to choose from
+ A skin-gentle formula
+ Cruelty-free product, suitable for vegans and vegetarians
+ Does not dry our or crumble
+ Large size
How to define your eyebrows with the Nanobrow pomade – step-by-step tutorial
1) Before you proceed to apply makeup to your eyebrows, you should work on achieving the best brow shape for your face. However, avoid over-plucking, and remove unnecessary hairs that grow beyond the bottom brow line.
2) Match the shade of pomade to your eyebrows. Prepare a brush (a clean spoolie will do the job and a flat brush with a slanted tip.
3) Brush through your brows with a spoolie to give them the right shape. Use the brush to pick up a bit of eyebrow pomade from the pot – make sure to apply a small amount of the product, as it is highly pigmented.
4) Define your top brow line with short brush strokes. Then gently fill in the brow (about ⅔ of its length) and precisely define the tail, which should be sharply pointed. You can leave your inner brow edge sauté or fill it in with a few hair-like strokes.
5) Fill in the empty spaces between the hairs with short strokes, focusing on the sparsest areas. Gradually, build up the coverage by applying the pomade in layers. Don’t overdo it with the pomade to ensure natural-looking effects.
6) Brush your eyebrows with a spoolie to slightly blend the edges, spread the color evenly, and brush out excess product.
7) Finally, you can further set the whole makeup with a brow mascara or brow gel to make them look fuller and more “fluffy.” Brush them up in gentle strokes, starting from the inner edge, and slowly moving toward the tail.
