Hair Growth Methods – I Announce ‘Hair, Grow!’ Action

Hey, girls! 🙂

You send me lots of messages telling you’re growing long hair… and it takes so looooong. It also gets me down that cutting hair down takes a moment whereas growing super-long strands lasts several months… Hair should grow quickly! Luckily, there are some ‘magic’ ways for boosting hair growth and I’m going to share them with you – the best and tried&tested ones. Let’s read and grow! It’s always easier in a group, maybe there’ll be an organized action? 😀

Hair growth-boosting methods

1. Treat it the right way. Buy your hair a good, paraben-free and silicone-free shampoo. Invest in a good conditioner and brush. Never ever pull or tear your hair. Moreover, Neem tree wooden comb speeds up hair growth, too. Use it for massaging the scalp and brushing the hair; it stimulates scalp blood flow and strengthen the bulbs, therefore makes strands grow faster.

2. Choose a good quality blow-dryer, meaning the one with the heat control. Blow-dry with a cool airflow to keep water inside the hair (keep hair well-hydrated). The cool airflow closes cuticle scales, smoothes the hair, increases shine and most of all – doesn’t irritate the scalp. Consequently, hair bulbs stay in shape. If you’re asking yourself a question ‘how to grow long hair fast?’, you must know the first, prior and key thing – the good condition of hair bulbs matters the most. After all, they’re responsible for the hair growth. That’s why the next point should keep you interested…

3. … hair oil treatment and natural oils. Girls, these oily little ‘fatties’ are simply invaluable when it comes to hair growth. I can’t imagine growing long hair without a good oil – the one that matches the porosity and can be applied to the scalp. Natural oils are full of vitamins, minerals, phytosterols and good fatty acids. Hair simply loves them and its growth is doubled. If you’re looking for an effective hair growth booster, trying the hair oil treatment is a must. While buying an oil, you should go for a properly composed mixture of several good oils.

4. Many girls praise the onion juice as a natural remedy for hair problems. The juice is one of the oldest and most effective home methods for hair growth. Onions are rich in sulphate which largely increases the production of collagen – essential for growth. Too bad the onion juice has one ‘little’ downside: not everyone’s going to bear the aroma… e.g. me 😀 I’m sharing the recipe for the brave ones. You cut an onion into pieces and squeeze gently so it gives the juice. Apply the juice to the scalp and rinse it out well after 15 minutes.

5. If not the onion, then maybe… vinegar? 🙂 Rinsing the scalp with an apple vinegar leaves the scalp clean, ensures the proper sebum secretion, regulating sebaceous glands and speeding up hair growth. All you need to do is pour a glass of a mixture on the scalp after every hair wash routine. You must mix the vinegar with boiled water in the following proportions: ¼ vinegar and ¾ water. If you don’t like the apple vinegar scent, I recommend Yves Rocher rinse that’s based on the raspberry vinegar.

6. How to boost hair growth? Obviously, with a hair mask 🙂 Not any mask; it must be natural and suitable for the scalp use. An egg-based mask is the best choice (hair loves protein which creates new strands). Eggs also contain sulphate, zinc, iron, selenium, phosphorus and iodine. How to make the egg hair mask? Mix three egg whites with a teaspoon of olive oil or any other natural oil. Leave the mask in for 20 minutes, rinse out with tepid water and thoroughly wash hair with a mild shampoo.

7. Potato juice for hair growth? Why not! Grate potatoes and rub the juice into hair and scalp. Let the juice sit in for 15 minutes; next, rinse it out with warm water.

8. Cayenne pepper is a great hair growth booster. Applied to the scalp, it improves the skin blood flow thus stimulates hair bulbs to work. Mix a teaspoon of the cayenne pepper with a natural oil or a blend of oils. Leave the mixture for a moment. I let it stay more or less 5 minutes. Next, I wash the mask off with a delicate shampoo, massaging the scalp gently.

9. I guess almost each of you knows the incredible benefits of coconut oil but few people know that coconut milk is an amazing growth booster, too. I apply the milk to scalp and hair, leave it in for the night and wash off in the morning with a shampoo.

10. Green tea. Every girl, who cares for her good looks, has this tea at home. The infusion of the ‘tea queen’ effectively stimulates hair growth and prevents thinning. All you do is rub the warm green tea infusion into the scalp and rinse it out after an hour. A perfect hair growth method!

11. Amla or Indian gooseberry. Known for ages and commonly used in India. Now, Amla (powder or maceration with natural oils) is available at nearly every drugstore. Amla oil is worth buying and seeing how it works for hair growth.

12. Rosemary (preferably the hydrolate) is ideal both for hair growth and as a remedy for thinning. You pour the hydrolate into an atomizer bottle and spray it onto the scalp, gently massaging the skin. Rosemary expands blood vessels, stimulates blood circulation and thus enhances faster hair growth.

I hope each of you found her favourite among the twelve hair growth methods. Natural oils and hair oil treatment are my no 1. Do you know other ways for boosting hair growth? You must post them in the comments 🙂 Enjoy growing long and healthy strands!
